— The studio
We're building swim suits
for the long summer.
Shark is a kidswear studio based in Cairo. We cut performance swim suits the way swimwear used to be made — for movement first, decoration second — and dress them in prints kids actually want to wear.

— Founder note
The piece our own kids wouldn't outgrow.
We started Shark because we couldn't find a swim suit that survived the season. Bright prints faded by July. Cheap nylon pilled by August. The body the suit promised to fit in May was a shrinking ghost by September.
So we built one. We cut from ECONYL®— nylon regenerated from ocean waste — because we wanted the fabric's story to match the suit's lifespan. We licensed the prints kids actually love, but printed them with industrial pigment that holds against chlorine. We tested each piece on twenty kids for six months before we let one ship.
The result is the swim suit our own kids refuse to take off — and the one we hand to friends without explanation.

— What we hold to
Three things, every piece.
01
Performance first.
If a kid can't move in it, it doesn't leave the studio. Compression cut, four-way stretch, no scratchy seams.
02
Designed for the body in motion.
The print is the prize, but the cut is the contract. Every Shark piece moves with the body — not against it.
03
Ocean-positive by default.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon. Recycled packaging. A chlorine warranty so suits don't end up in landfill at first fade.
